On a celestial walk.<\/p>\n

And they fly together with your<\/p>\n

construction, imperfect,<\/p>\n

but seductively sufficient.<\/p>\n

An object of research.<\/p>\n

In the evening,<\/p>\n

you yield to the sky<\/p>\n

and transform into<\/p>\n

a floating star.<\/p>\n

You twinkle, urgently.<\/p>\n

More urgently.<\/p>\n

A point in the eye.<\/p>\n

You blink at them.<\/p>\n

And we mere mortals<\/p>\n

gather together slowly<\/p>\n

in the asphalt harbour.<\/p>\n

And wait. Wait. Wait\u2026<\/p>\n

We wait for some fucking propeller<\/p>\n

to suck in or belch out smoke<\/p>\n

on your sails of steel<\/p>\n

and thereby turning you,<\/p>\n

imperceptibly, into a celestial flipper.<\/p>\n

You fly high,<\/p>\n

unto the very embrace of the gods.<\/p>\n

But I\u2019m sorry,<\/p>\n

you are too material.<\/p>\n

In their embrace<\/p>\n

are only humans<\/p>\n

who form their own wings, themselves.<\/p>\n

And they reach that height,<\/p>\n

driven by a fuel<\/p>\n

that remains unknown to you.<\/p>\n
